MINDFULNESS. MEMORIES. MAGIC.
in Morocco
6th-13th June 2027
Join Cobi & Clare for a very special week of yoga, meditation, breathwork, restoration, and soulful connection in the magical Moroccan landscape of Essaouira.
We discovered Les Jardins de Villa Maroc on our visit to Morocco in 2026 and fell in love with it. This beautiful retreat, tucked away in the fragrant thuya forest, is peaceful, elegant, and wonderfully secluded, yet close enough to explore the ancient coastal town of Essaouira.
We can’t wait to return and bring a group of like-minded souls with us.
Welcome to Essaouira
Set on Morocco’s Atlantic coast, this UNESCO World Heritage city is a gentle alternative to the bustle of Marrakech. In the beachside Medina, you can find art galleries and boutiques nestled within traditional artisan shops. Or, stroll along the harbour and take in the sea breeze and charming whitewashed, blue-shuttered buildings that characterise the city.
Just outside of town lies a landscape of argan trees, olive groves, and golden sand dunes, the ideal setting for a week of rest and renewal.
Les Jardins de Villa Maroc
Les Jardins de Villa Maroc sits on an expansive eleven-hectare property in the thuya forest, offering a rare sense of space and tranquillity.
Just fifteen minutes from Essaouira’s city centre, it is the perfect base from which to discover the region while still feeling wonderfully removed from the outside world. The peaceful courtyards, gardens, terraces, and swimming pool are spaces designed for lingering, relaxing, and simply being.
Yoga, Movement & Stillness
This retreat is an opportunity to reconnect with your body, quieten your mind, and rediscover the pleasure of being present.
MORNING PRACTICE
Each day begins with an energising yet grounding practice combining yoga, breathwork, and meditation.
We’ll move together in the serene indoor yoga studio or outside on the open-air terrace, surrounded by the beauty of the Moroccan landscape.
Expect thoughtful, explorative practices that leave you feeling connected and ready for the day ahead.
All levels and bodies are welcome.
AFTERNOON PRACTICE
As the heat of the day softens, we’ll turn inward with slower, deeply nourishing practices.
This might include Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, sound healing, guided meditation, or restorative movement.
There will also be plenty of time to choose your own adventure!
Swim, read beside the pool, journal in a quiet courtyard, book a treatment, or simply watch the changing light across the mountains.
MORE THAN YOGA
Throughout the week we’ll weave in additional practices and experiences including:
Meditation · Journaling · Shakti Dance · Tai Chi · Breathwork · Sound Healing
There is no pressure to do everything.
Nourishment
Food is an important part of the Moroccan experience, and a part of the pleasure of the retreat. Menus change according to the season and what’s available at the local market, celebrating Moroccan specialities and seasonal ingredients.
Two delicious meals each day, plus snacks and natural refreshments, are included.
Your Moroccan Dome
You will be staying in one of the eleven unique domes that Les Jardins de Villa Maroc has to offer, inspired by the traditional nualas of southern Morocco.
The domes have been thoughtfully created using sustainable building practices that blend ancient techniques with contemporary Moroccan design and naturally regulate the interior climate.
There are two styles of dome to choose from. You may choose single occupancy, or to share a dome with another person for a reduced price. There will be two domes that are able to accommodate three guests.
Double Dome
The Double Domes provide all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay. Inside, traditional Moroccan craftsmanship meets modern comfort, creating peaceful, cocoon-like spaces.
Double Dome features:
• 180cm double bed
• Sitting area
• Separate dressing room
• Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower
• Bespoke Villa Maroc argan oil toiletries
• Ceiling fan
Superior Dome
For those looking for a little more room to spread out, the Superior Domes offer all the charm of the Double Domes with the addition of a separate living room adjoining the master bedroom.
They also feature a beautiful wood-fired stove, making these domes especially cosy and inviting when the evenings are cooler.

We’ll then sit down to a relaxed traditional Moroccan lunch, including a freshly prepared tagine made with ingredients from the farm.

Your Hosts
Cobi and Clare are two kindred spirits brought together by yoga and a shared sense of curiosity, joy, and purpose.
Our paths first crossed in 2019 during a teacher training in Tenerife, and from that moment our friendship and teaching journey have blossomed across countries, cultures, and countless yoga mats.
Together, we’ve explored many layers of this beautiful practice, teaching, studying, and growing both personally and professionally.
What unites us is a deep belief in yoga’s ability to help us heal and reconnect with what truly matters. Our teaching is rooted in exploration, rather than perfection.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Morocco and share some of the soul-soothing magic that yoga has given us.
