Hello, I’m Cobi.

I am a London-based yoga teacher, retreat leader and holistic therapist.

You can find me at health clubs, studios, community spaces, workplaces, and online, creating environments where people can slow down, feel safe, and come home to themselves. I also love to travel and explore, and I’ve been fortunate to guide and host retreats in wonderful locations both in the UK and abroad.

My teaching is a soulful blend of yoga, mindfulness, and creative movement. Each class is an unfolding journey, supporting students to feel calm, open, and quietly uplifted.

Rooted in holistic wisdom and timeless techniques, I hold a nurturing space where students can explore, heal, and grow.

I have experienced in myself and observed in others, the hugely healing benefits of Yoga and would love to share with you the tools and techniques that this beautiful practice brings.

  • I came to yoga over twenty years ago, almost by accident. A friend encouraged me to join her for a class, and despite thinking yoga wasn’t for me, that first experience quietly shifted something. For the first time, movement felt like a whole-being practice — both strengthening and deeply calming. Yoga soon became a steady presence in my life.

Over the years, yoga has supported me through periods of challenge as well as growth, offering grounding, balance and a more compassionate relationship with myself. What began as a personal practice gradually evolved into a deeper calling.

In 2016, I completed my teacher training, guided by a desire to work within wellbeing and share the practices that had supported me so profoundly. Yoga continues to be central to how I stay connected, well and grounded, and I teach from lived experience — honouring both strength and softness.

Retreats have also been an important part of my journey. After attending my first retreat in 2008, taking time away each year became a meaningful form of nourishment and self-care. This love of retreat spaces now inspires me to host my own, holding space so that others can rest and reconnect.

  • My intention is for people to leave class feeling strong, positive, peaceful and more balanced in both body and mind.

In my classes, I create a feel-good journey. There is space to follow instinct, sometimes closing the eyes and moving intuitively, and at other times being guided through strong, energising breath and mindful movement. Stillness is woven in just as intentionally, allowing the body and nervous system to fully absorb the practice.

My teaching is a true mind-body experience. I work with music and silence, thoughtful cues, and gentle reflections that invite awareness without overthinking. The atmosphere is light-hearted and welcoming, while still holding space for depth, insight, and meaningful connection.

I encourage curiosity over perfection, self-trust over striving, and enjoyment over effort. Whether a class is dynamic or slow, the underlying intention remains the same: to help people feel more alive, more at ease, and more connected to themselves — on and off the mat.

  • I completed my initial 200 hours yoga teacher training in 2016 on a unique course which took place between London and India. It was a course of inner discovery through exploration of ancient and contemporary yoga. I am very grateful to have been guided by beautiful soul and wise teacher, Linda D’Antal. This experience deeply shaped both my personal practice and the foundations of my teaching.

Since then, I have continued to train extensively. I studied Advanced Yin Yoga with the ‘King of Yin’, Norman Blair, and have gone on to assist on his trainings. My ongoing learning also includes acroyoga, partner and group yoga, mindfulness meditation, chakra studies, Yoga Nidra, Shakti Dance (the dance of yoga), Kemetic (African) yoga circle facilitation, reflexology, Indian head massage, and Ballet Barre.

I am an avid reader and lifelong student of yoga, wellbeing, and self-discovery, and I regularly attend workshops, courses, and trainings to deepen my understanding and to continue offering rich, informed practices to my students.

Alongside teaching, a significant part of my work now involves organising and hosting international retreats. My background in managing projects and events has given me the confidence and skills to create retreats that are both well-held and deeply nourishing.

Yoga must not be practised to control the body: it is the opposite , it must bring freedom to the body , all the freedom it needs.
